Herbal Phentermine’s Interaction with other Medications

Before taking herbal phentermine inform your doctor about all health problems you re having ot have had recently. It is also essential for your doctor to receive a detailed list of all medications that you are taking, because herbal phentermine can interact with other drugs causing some negative health consequences. You should necessarily tell your doctor about your treatment with the following medications:

  1. Medications to treat high blood pressure;
  2. MAO inhibitors (tranylcypromine, phenelzine, furazolidone, selegiline, linezolid and others);
  3. Antidepressants, such as nortriptyline (Pamelor), protriptyline (Vivactil), or trimipramine (Surmontil), amitriptyline (Elavil, Etrafon), amoxapine (Ascendin), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramine (Norpramin), doxepin (Sinequan), imipramine (Janimine, Tofranil), fluvoxamine (Luvox), sertraline (Zoloft), escitalopram (Lexapro), paroxetine (Paxil), fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem), citalopram (Celexa);
  4. Insulin or any other diabetes treating medication that you take by mouth;
  5. Guanethidine (Ismelin), guanadrel (Hylorel);
You should also avoid using so-called “stimulant” drugs that are capable to raise your heart rate, such as caffeine or decongestants. Many of over-the-counter cold and cough remedies contain decongestants and, thus, can be potentially dangerous. Do not stop or start taking any medication without listening to your doctor or pharmacist opinion.
