Rules how to Take Herbal Phentermine

Before taking Herbal Phentermine you are to check the prescription label carefully and to consult your doctor. You should not take phentermine if you have used an MAO inhibitor such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) within the past 14 days before the moment when you plan to start taking phentermine. You are to be aware that you can face serious side effects of phentermine if you begin taking medicine before the MAO inhibitor has cleared from your body.

Also you should know that combining phentermine with other diet medications such as fenfluramine (Phen-Fen) or dexfenfluramine (Redux) can lead to a rare fatal lung disorder called pulmonary hypertension. Do not take herbal phentermine with any other diet medications without your doctor’s advice.

Do not take herbal phentermine if you are allergic to phentermine or other stimulants, or if you have the following diseases:

  • heart disease or high blood pressure;
  • arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries);
  • an overactive thyroid;
  • glaucoma;
  • if you are in an agitated state; or
  • if you have a history of drug or alcohol abuse.
Before taking phentermine, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have:
  • problems with your thyroid,
  • an anxiety disorder,
  • epilepsy or another seizure disorder, or
  • diabetes.
There are no evidences that phentermine can cause harm to unborn baby but you’d better consult your doctor before taking phentermine if you are pregnant. Also in order to reduce any risk of harming a new born baby consult your doctor before taking medicine of if you are breast-feeding a baby. It is not recommended to take phentermine if you are younger than 16 years old.

Herbal Phentermine should be taken according to the way it was prescribed to you. We advise you not to exceed the dose and take the medicine for longer period than it is recommended by your doctor. It is better to take phentermine with a glass of cold water. Also we do recommend you to take phentermine when your stomach is empty. Usually herbal phentermine is taken only for a short time, not longer than a few weeks. When taking the medicine be sure you do not crush, chew, break, or open an extended-release the pill. You should swallow the whole pill whole at once. The pill is supposed to be gradually released in the body. If you damage the pill before taking it there is a risk that medicine would be absorbed too quickly. It is better not to take the pills in the evening as it may cause such side effect as insomnia. You should store herbal phentermine at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
